This is the story of the often invisible crew members on board a beacon of British enterprise, ingenuity & excellence. This is their epitaph to the liner which has ruled the waves for 40 glorious years.
The crew comprise citizens of about forty different countries, from all walks of life, who have had the privilege of walking the bracing decks and the endless honeycomb of corridors of this flagship.
Lukie Kern (Sanitation Officer), John Hancock (Chief Baker) and Bernard Stumpfel (Executive Chef) are the principal players and they've put together their experiences, what happens away from the eyes of passengers, in their work stations, crew bars and of course their exploits ashore.
